Club Meeting Policy During CV-19 Distancing
The effects of the Wuhan Virus continues to take a toll on our community, state, and country. At the press conference on March 16, 2020, our President, along with medical professionals, asked that we work together to ‘slow the spread’ of this virus. Part of those guidelines includes no meetings of more than ten people and to practice ’social distancing’ for 15 days. On Monday, March 30, 2020, the 15day ‘slow the spread’ guidelines were extended to the end of April.
Although the SCS board recently voted to keep our community centers closed until April 14, 2020, we don’t know, with changing circumstances, if an opening date is certain. So, considering all of the uncertainty, I think it prudent to cancel our April 16, 2020 meeting. Thank you for understanding, and we will keep you informed as to the status of our May 2020 meeting.
Also, while we are following the Wuhan Virus Distancing Guidelines, we will post links to publications and articles we feel would be of importance and interest to our members on our website. Click the links of the articles you would like to read. If you found an article you think we should post on our site, please email the link to firstname.lastname@example.org for consideration.
