VOTING IN PERSON
Even though all active registered voters will receive a ballot in the mail for the 2020 general election, voters can choose to vote in person at a polling place instead of voting by mail.  Voter who choose to vote in person will have two options:

1.    Early Voting - Early voting begins on Saturday, October 17 and runs through Friday, October 30.  Days and hours of operation vary by county.  A list of early voting polling places by can be found at https://www.nvsos.gov/sos/home/showdocument?id=8892
2.     In order to avoid lines on Election Day, all voters who wish to vote in person are encouraged to vote early.
3.    Election Day - Polling locations open at 7:00 am on Election Day and remain open until 7:00 pm.  As long as you are in line by 7:00 pm, you will be allowed to vote.  A list of Election Day polling places by can be found at  https://www.nvsos.gov/sos/home/showdocument?id=8924

Voters who want to check the status of their mail ballot can login to the Secretary of State’s and confirm that their ballot has been received, or they can contact their county election office directly.  https://www.nvsos.gov/votersearch/
Voters also have the option to or a service that will send the voter an alert via text message or email when the voter’s ballot has been received and counted. https://nevada.ballottrax.net/voter/
